Coast Guard beat Bridgewater State 3-1 and Western Connecticut 3-0 to improve to 12-7 on the season.
In the 25-16, 25-15, 11-25, 25-18 win over Bridgewater State, Dumont hit .500 with 17 kills and just two errors in the win over Bridgewater State while freshman Summer Adams had nine kills and just one error.
Junior Maggie Hine and freshman Michelle Hernandez combined for 37 assists while freshman Michelle McGill had a match-high 15 digs and three aces.
In the 25-20, 25-16, 25-10 win over Western Connecticut, Dumont hit .500 with 18 kills and no errors while sophomore Susan West added seven kills hitting .317 with just one error.
Hine had 19 assists, 11 digs and two aces in the win over the Colonials.
"Tonight we got back to playing Coast Guard volleyball," said head coach Aylene Ilkson. "Our offense was effective and balanced along with a solid defensive effort from every player. It was a great to see us firing on all cylinders and really working as a team."
The Bears are back in action on Saturday when they take on Plymouth State at noon and host Johnson & Wales at 2 p.m.
