WORCESTER,Mass. – Sarah Passilla won three events as the Bears beat both WPI and Southern Connecticut.
Coast Guard beat the host Engineers 163-137 and Division II Southern Connecticut 197-99 to improve to 2-3 on the season.
Passilla won the 200 freestyle (1:59.86), the 100 freestyle (54.93) and the 200 IM (2:14.02) to lead the way while Josie McGuire won the 500 freestyle (5:19.00) and the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:54.01.
Also in the double win, Katie Dennin won the 100 backstroke (1:01.68), Sophie Furigay won the 200 backstroke (2:13.77), Taylor Young won the 1-meter diving with 217.45 points while Natalie Yurgil won the 3-meter board with a score of 196 points.
The Bears 200 freestyle relay team of Melody Pompay, Hannah Fernandes, McGuire and Brigit Jogan won in 1:43.17.
The Bears are back in action when they host Brandeis on Nov. 23rd at noon.
