Why did you choose to come to the Coast Guard Academy?

I love the water and boats, and I I couldn't pass up a great opportunity to send me on my way to serve others, improve myself, and work with some of the best people for the rest of my life.

How long have you been sailing? How did you start sailing?

I became interested in sailing through summer camps and my dad, and sailed all four years of high school.

What is your favorite thing about the sailing team at Coast Guard?

The sailing, like the Coast Guard Academy and out in the fleet, is a family, and through the encouragement and support of teammates, sailing is a great opportunity to escape the daily academic and military obligations.

What is the sailing acheivement that you are most proud of?

Having the opportunity to sail in college at the Coast Guard Academy.

What are your future sailing plans and career goals after graduation?

I plan on sailing for the rest of my life, whether it be it recreation or racing.

I'm obsessed with minions and ice cream.
