Lane was named to the first team as a midfielder for the first time in his career while Read made the second team as a defender for the second time in as many years. Dandan earned his first all-conference selection as a second team midfielder.
Lane led the Bears in goals (seven), assists (five), and points (19) this season. His goal total was tied for fifth in the conference while his points total was tied for sixth. The co-captain finishes his career with 14 goals, 13 assists and 41 career points after missing all of last season due to injury.
For the second year in a row, Read was named Second Team All-Conference. He led a defense that was tied for second in the conference with eight shutouts. He also was an asset on the offensive scoring five goals for the Bears. The co-captain was named to the CoSida Academic All District First Team and will be on the Academic All-American ballot that will be voted on later this month.
Dandan earns his first NEWMAC All Conference nod after scoring two goals and adding two assists this past season. The junior was a strong presence in the Coast Guard offense helping develop numerous attacking opportunities, many of them leading to goal. He now has seven goals, nine assists and 23 points for his career.
The three players combined for 51 starts and led the Bears to the NEWMAC tournament for the fourth time in five years.
