Cannon Named to NEWMAC All-Conference Team

BOSTON, Mass. – Junior pitcher Colton Cannon has been named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Baseball All-conference second team.

Cannon led the Bears pitching staff in wins (4), innings (51 2/3) and strikeouts (48). He had a record of 4-1 for the Bears and opponents hit just .233 against him.

 The southpaw had wins over Fitchburg State, Gettysburg, Springfield and NEWMAC regular season champion MIT this season as the Bears were 16-21 overall and 8-9 in conference play qualifying for the conference tournament for the second straight season and the third time in the last four years.

The Bears also won the NEWMAC sportsmanship award.
