Lieutenant Lindsay Duplessis, a native of Rye, NH, graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Government. She played center midfielder while attending USCGA and served as team captain her senior year.
Her first assignment was to CGC WILLIAM TRUMP (WPC 1111) in Key West, FL, where she served as a Deck Watch Officer, Boarding Officer, Operations and Weapons Officer, and First Lieutenant, carrying out Drug and Migrant Interdiction and Search and Rescue operations.
In July of 2017, she reported to RICHARD SNYDER (WPC 1127), a pre-commissioned Fast Response Cutter in Atlantic Beach, NC, as Executive Officer. As a Plank Owner, she created the cutter’s initial programs, facilitated commissioning a new Coast Guard asset, and saw the unit through its first year of patrols throughout the mid-Atlantic, which consisted primarily of Search and Rescue and Fisheries and Recreational Boating Safety operations.
In July of 2019, she reported to the Coast Guard Academy Professional Maritime Studies Branch where she currently serves as a Nautical Science II Instructor.
