TOP MOMENT #4 – GOLLIN COMPETES AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR THIRD TIME

Senior Beth Gollin's tremendous career came to end as she finished 19th in the preliminary heats of the 3000 meter steeplechase at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships in May.

Gollin ran 11:19.63 missing the final heat on Saturday by four spots. This was the third time she has qualified for the National Championships.

Gollin had had an incredible career at the Coast Guard as she was not only a three time qualifier for Nationals, but was also All-NEWMAC twice and All-New England once in cross country, Division III All-New England four times and All-ECAC three times indoor, and was Division III All-New England three times and Open All-New England once outdoors.

She also holds three school records (indoor 3000, indoor DMR, and outdoor 3000 steeplechase) and she also owns the Coast Guard indoor track record for the 3000 meter run.
