WOMEN'S PREVIEW

The Bears will look to improve upon their sixth place finish at the NEWMAC Championships last season after placing seventh in 2014.

Coast Guard was 5-6 in dual meet this season.

Swimmer to watch this weekend are freshman Kristen Young in the 200 freestyle, classmate Christine McCullough in the distance events as well as freshman Samantha Kenis, the school record holder in the 200 back stroke

MEN'S PREVIEW

The Bears posted their 14th consecutive winning season with a 7-2 record in dual meets. Coast Guard placed third for the third straight season at the NEWMAC Championships last year.

A pair of freshmen, Chasse Sodemann (100) and Dan Moreno (200) will look to be a factor in the breaststroke events while classmate Taylor Rowe will lead the Bears in the distance events.

The Bears will be very strong in the 400 IM with juniors Zach Weeks, Elliot VanDeren and freshman Colin Fenster leading the way.

Freshman Will French, one of the top divers in the conference, will look to compete for the top spot on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.
