Cantrell Places 22nd on 3-Meter Board at NCAA's

SHENANDOAH, Texas—Sophomore diver Sara Cantrell placed 22nd on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.

Cantrell, the first Coast Guard female diver to quality for the NCAA championships, posted a score of 378.30.

She placed fifth and broke her own school record on the 3-meter board with a score of 444.5 points while she placed eighth on the 1-meter board with a score of 406.65 at the NCAA Diving Regional which qualified her for the NCAA championship.

She will compete on the 1-meter board on Friday.
