Why did you choose to come to the Coast Guard Academy?: To do something more with my life and make a difference.

What is your favorite thing about the sailing team at Coast Guard? I love being apart of something larger than myself. Junior sailing you sailed for yourself, but here you are doing it for the team.
What other activities/positions/clubs are you involved with on campus? I am Vice President of the Class of 2019. I am a member of Cadet Activities Club, Aviation club, Ski and Snowboard Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes
What is the sailing acheivement that you are most proud of? Winning my fist interclub race as a blue fleeter in optis. It gave me the confidence to train better to be the best I can be.
What are your future sailing plans and career goals after graduation? I want to continue sailing for the rest of my life; whether it be pleasure or racing I don't care as long as I am around the sport. I want to share the joy of sailing with my friends and family and teach others.
Tell us something that your teammates would be surprised to know about you.: I avoid cotton balls at all costs. I hate the feeling of them. I find other materials to shine my shoes with and will ask others to pick them up
