Junior: Lead team to four new school records in both air and smallbore competition. Captained the team to a Conference Championship in Air Rifle and a silver medal place in smallbore as well as an Air Rifle win in the MIT Sectional of the NRA Collegiate Sectional of the National Indoor Championship. Individual Gold medalist in air rifle at the MIT NRA Collegiate Sectional. Named to Mid Atlantic Rifle Conference All Academic Team as well as All Conference Air Rifle and Smallbore Teams ranked second and fourth respectively.
Sophomore: Nick’s strong work ethic and leadership led him to be appointed a team co-captain for 2014-15. He led the team to new school records in both disciplines and aggregate competition as he upped his own school air rifle record to 585. He repeated as the and added the individual Gold in smallbore to his collection. He was named to the MAC All Conference Team in both air and smallbore, the All Academic Team, and honored as Mid Atlantic Rifle Conference February 2015 Air Rifle Athlete of the Month
Freshman: As a freshman Nick established a new Coast Guard air rifle record of 582 at the Mid Atlantic Rifle Conference Championships and was named CGA Athlete of the Week for the performance. He was also selected to the 2014 Mid Atlantic All Rookie Team. He was in the individual Gold medalist in air rifle at the 2014 MIT NRA Collegiate Sectional.
Prior to Coast Guard: Nick is a product of the Rich Allaire’s Somerset, New Jersey Junior Rifle Club and accumulated a trophy case full of honors including both state and national championships before coming to Coast Guard
Personal: Nick is the son of Edward and Christine Paisker and has two brothers: Bradley a graduate of Norwich University and Mitchell at University of Maine, another school whose mascot is a bear.
