Men's XC Finish 10th at Conn. College Invitational

WATERFORD, CT -  Coast Guard junior Gary Ezzo finished 9th out of a field of 233 runners in today's Connecticut College Invitational at Harkness Memorial State Park, leading the Bears to a 10th place finish out of 22 competing schools. Ezzo finished the beautiful 8k course in 25:33, allowing him to finish in the top-ten for the fifth consecutive race.

Coming in second for Coast Guard was sophomore Joe O'Connell who finished in 26:17. After O'Connell, junior Jordan Lee and sophomore Stephen Horvath came in back-to-back at 26:47 and 26:48, respectively.

Junior Ryan O'Neil (27:00) and sophomores James Martin (27:05) and Jon Lash (27:10) also finished strong for the Bears.

Coast Guard have next weekend off before heading to Smith College for the NEWMAC Championships on Saturday, October 27.
