BOSTON, Mass. - Sophomore Justin Jezuit and the 4x400 team of sophomore Benjamin Taminger, sophomore Jacob Pawlina, junior Luke Rehfuss and junior Raeford Penny both earned NEWMAC weekly award honors for their performances this past weekend.
At the Springfield College Classic Jezuit won two events leading the Bears to 15 top ten finishes on the day. Jezuit was first in the hammer with a season best throw of 153-10 and the discus with a distance of 142-01. Jezuit is in the top 15 in both event in Division III New England.
At the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton the 4x400 team finished in a season best time of 3:19.97 for a fifth place finish. The time moves them into third in D III New England and 43rd in the all of Division III.
The Bears are back in action this Saturday, April 29th, at the NEWMAC Championship hosted by MIT.
