BOSTON, Mass. – The men's distance medley relay set a new school record on day one of the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University.

The team of senior Caleb Teachout, junior Brett Foster and sophomore Benjamin Taminger and Nicholas Frystak ran 10:10.33 for an eighth place finish. Their time broke the school record set last year by Teachout, Foster, Raeford Penny and Andrew Ireland who ran 10:10.54 on the same track.

The relays time also puts them fourth in New England and eighth in the nation.

The Bears are back in action today, at day two of the David Hemery Valentine Invitational and at the Gordon Kelly Invitational hosted by MIT.
