In addition, the Bears welcome aboard a strong freshman class that hopes to bolster the starting line-up and provide depth to the roster. Coast Guard was 8-7 overall last season and 4-2 in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) advancing to the conference tournament semifinals for the sixth time in the last seven seasons.

The Bears will open the 2015-2016 campaign with a home dual match against Vassar College on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

It will be an exciting year for the Bears as they are scheduled to face off against a number of nationally and regionally ranked teams.  In addition to this Saturday's home-opener, the fall schedule includes dual contests with Salve Regina University, Assumption College, Trinity College, and Nichols College.  Coast Guard will also partner with Connecticut College and co-host two invitational events.
