Nine Different Bears Win Events in Victory at Clark

WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman Joe Rodriguez won the 50 freestyle and was part of both of the Coast Guard's winning relays nine different swimmers won individual events leading the Bears past Clark 172-90.

Rodriguez won the 50 freestyle (21.69) and the Bears 200 medley relay team of junior Nicholas Buch, freshman John Pompay, Rodriquez and junior Brandon Ledford won with a time of 1:38.97 while the 200 freestyle relay team of sophomore Chasse Sodemann, Rodriquez, sophomore Patrick Jackson and Ledford won in 1:28.02.

Also for the Bears, sophomore Jordan Keller won the 1,000 freestyle (10:24.60), junior Adam Peterson won the 200 freestyle (1:49.13),  Jackson won the 100 breaststroke (54.37), Pompay won the 100 breaststroke (1:00.36), freshman Owen Gibson won the 200 butterfly (2:00.82), freshman Max McCall won the 100 freestyle (50.99), sophomore Zachary Baker won the 200 backstroke (2:03.77) and sophomore Justin Kang won the 200 breaststroke (2:17.02),

Coast Guard (5-2) closes out the regular season on January 28th at Wesleyan at noon.
