Brindamour Breaks School Record at NCAA's

SHENANDOAH, Texas—Sophomore Christian Brindamour broke the school record in the 100 backstroke at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.

Brindamour broke the old record of 52.01 set by Tim Berry in 2008 and finished 33rd in the event by posting a time of 51.81.

On Wednesday, Brindamour was 13th of the 50 swimmers as he posted a time of 20.46 in the 50 freestyle.

He owns the Coast Guard school record of 20.33 which he set at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships this season.

He will compete in the 100 freestyle event on Saturday.
