WELLESLEY, Mass.—Sophomore Christian Brindamour won three individual events and was part of a winning relay leading Coast Guard to a 156-138 win over Babson at Wellesley College.
Brindamour won the 100 backstroke in 55.16, the 50 freestyle (21.54) and the 100 freestyle (48.24) as Coast Guard improved to 6-1 on the season.
Freshman Ben Morseth won the 200 backstroke in 2:06.18 and junior Barrett Johannsen won the 100 butterfly (53.75) for the Bears while freshmen Andy Anderson won and Kyle Smith placed second in both the 1-meter diving event with 235.6 and 197.8 points respectively and the 3-meter event with 239.25 and 176.45 points.
Junior Marco Tinari placed second in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:17.45 as well as second the the 500 freestyle in 4:59.03 while Dona was second the 200 freestyle (1:49.50) and Johannsen took second in the 200 butterfly (2:03.54).
The Bears 200 medley relay team of junior Jacob Kramb, Piantedosi, Johannsen and senior Kevin Smit placed second with a time of 1:42.92.
