Baldez Named to NEWMAC All-Conference 2nd Team

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Junior Noah Baldez has been named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic (NEWMAC) All-conference second team.

Baldez was named to the second team earning All-conference honors for the first time in his career. He was second on the team this season with 13.6 points per game and a 54.3 field goal percentage (6th in the NEWMAC).

He led the Bears with 84 assists (6th in the NEWMAC) and 48 steals (2nd in the NEWMAC) while also averaging 3.7 rebounds per game. Baldez scored in double figures 15 times this season and scored 20 or more points six times. He had four or more assists 13 times during the season.

Coast Guard posted 16 wins, its most wins and first winning since the 2007'-08 season. The Bears finished 16-8 overall and 7-7 in the NEWMAC, the seven conference wins match the most NEWMAC wins in program history.
