Marina is in her first season as an assistant athletic trainer at the Coast Guard Academy.

She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Kinesiology from the University of Connecticut.

Following her time at the University of Connecticut, she received a graduate student position at Southern Connecticut State University where she earned a Master’s of Science degree in Exercise Physiology.

Marina served three years at Albertus Magnus as the Head Athletic Trainer.

She’s also served in the physical therapy/rehabilitation profession as an athletic trainer and exercise physiologist.

Also, she worked with the New Haven County Cutters minor league baseball team and did work as a private contractor.
