Anne Jefferson won the discus with a throw of 113 feet, two inches.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/5/08)--Alaina Kiskaddon won the 400 meter hurdles, JoEllen Arons won the 800 meters and Anne Jefferson won the discus as Coast Guard won the CGA Spring Invitational.

Kiskaddon had a winning time of 1:09.74, Arons won in 2:19.98 while Jefferson had a throw of 113-02.

Chanel Lee was second in the 100 meter hurdles (16.26) and third in the 100 meters (13.06) while Victoria Stevens took home three third place finishes as she was third in the shot put (35-2.5), discus (103-02) and the hammer (122-04).

The Bears' 4x400 relay team of Dana Tomc, Tara Sutcliffe, Emily Zalewski and Arons finished second, setting a school record in 4:09.48, beating the previous record of 4:09.66, set in 2002.

Coast Guard had 122 points to best the 12-team field. Rival Connecticut College placed second with 101.5 points.
