PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(3/25/08)--Rhode Island College improved to 2-0 on the season in a closely contested, 5-4, win over Coast Guard.
The two teams split the singles matches, with RICıs, 2-1 margin in doubles proving to be the difference.
Coast Guard (1-6) took three of the top four singles flights, as
Chris Pappe won at No. 1 singles, James Vuckovic won at No. 2 singles and Brett Sillman won at No. 4 singles.
Also, Pappe teamed with Vuckovic to win at No. 1 doubles for Coast Guard.
