Baseball - Bears Win Third Straight with 20-6 Win

FORT MYERS, FLA.--(3/13/08)--Coast Guard pounded out 24 hits, 23 of them singles as the Bears won their third straight beating Penn. State Abington 20-6 at the Gene Cusic Classic.
In the bottom of second, Coast Guard (3-3) sent 14 batters to the plate as all nine players scored and the Bears scored 11 times to take a 12-0 lead.
Sophomore Ryan Milligan had four hits including the Bears only extra base hit of the day, a double, to go with four runs scored and three RBI’s, junior Kevin Keefe had three hits and three RBI’s while sophomore Steve Arguelles added a pair of hits for the Bears.
Senior Will Becker picked up his first win of the season as he worked seven innings and allowed seven hits, four runs, all earned while walking three and striking out six. Freshman Mike Ahlin allowed two hits and two runs over the final two innings.
