Brian Lisko had two hits including a homer and three RBI's in the win.
FORT MYERS, FLA.--(3/11/08)--Freshman Jesse Karr, making his first career start, pitched six solid innings allowing just one earned run to pickup his first career win while senior Brian Lisko and sophomore Steve Arguelles homered leading Coast Guard to a 13-2 win over Emerson at the Gene Cusic Classic.
Arguelles had a two-run homer, Lisko had a two-run homer and drove in three runs while junior Steve Lewis had three hits including a double and three RBI’s as the Bears (2-3) pounded out 17 hits.
Senior Ken Franklin added three hits including a triple, scored three runs and drove in a run, while sophomore Keith Laird had a pair of triples and three runs scored.
Senior Kevin Higgins also had two hits for the Bears.
Senior Will Becker allowed just one hit while fanning three in two innings of relief while sophomore Liam Adams struck out the side in the ninth for Coast Guard.
