Freshman Carl Luxhoj earned All-ECAC honors in two events.
CAMBRIDGE, MASS.--(3/8/08)--Coast Guard had seven athletes earn All-ECAC honors at the ECAC Championships at Harvard.

Senior Chris Hunt was third in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 56’-3.25.

Freshman Jesse Cremeans placed sixth in the pentathlon with 3,272 points breaking his own school record of 3,199 points set earlier this season.

Freshman Carl Luxhoj was fifth in the long jump with a jump of 22’- 2.5 and seventh in the triple jump with 46’-3.5 which was also a NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

The distance medley relay team was 8th with a time of 10:28.48 run by Mike Haas, Matt Romano, Jason Erickson, and Mike Persun.

Both Mike Haas and Chris Hunt will be competing at the NCAA Track and Field Championships this Friday and Saturday at Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH. Mike Haas will be running the Mile and Chris Hunt will compete n the 35# wt. throw.
