ST. PETERSBURG, FLA.--(3/3/08)--The co-ed team placed third at the Eckerd Intersectional Regatta at Eckerd College.
The team was represented by two freshman skippers Sam Ingham (A-division) sailing with crew junior Emily Kehrt and Jonathan Duffett sailing with sophomore Chris Grabe.
The regatta saw 14 teams from four of the seven conferences represented. The Bears finished 3rd overall and 3rd in A-Division and 4th in B-Division.
A great finish as the sailors were one of the few teams that had any practice yet due to weather. Twelve races were sailed over two days in pleasant conditions.
