MIDDLETOWN, CONN.--(2/9/08)--Freshman David Boyle was the only event winner for Coast Guard, as he won the 500 meters with a New England qualifying time of 1:08.44 at the Wesleyan Cardinal Invitational, a meet which does not keep team scores.
Boyle also teamed with Joe Chevalier, Andres Luai and Dan Miller to place second in the 4x400 with a time of 3:36.33
Freshman Nate Crum took second in the mile (4:40.53), Jesse Cremeans placed third in the 1000 meters (2:42.93) and fourth in the 55 hurdles (8.95) while sophomore Carl Stokes was third in the shot put (43-1.75 feet).
