Sophomore Tessa Knott won the mile and was part of the winning 4x800 relay team for the Bears.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(1/26/08)--Senior Victoria Stevens won both the shot put (10.73 meters) and the weight throw (12.17 meters) as Coast Guard placed second at the five team Coast Guard Academy Winter Invitational.

Westfield State won the meet with 156 points, Coast Guard was second with 114 points while UMass Dartmouth was third with 100 points.

Sophomore Tessa Knott won the mile (5:36.49) and was part of the 4x800 relay team with senior Lauren Power, freshman Colin Fall and junior Charlotte Delorey, which posted a winning time of 10:45.03.


The Bears took the top four spots in the 800 meters as junior Dana Tomc won with a time of 2:31.69. Junior KC Gaudette (2:33.15), Power (2:34.69) and freshman Alaina Kiskaddon (2:35.64) rounded out the top four.
