Junior Krystyna Vihonski won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke events in the win.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(2/2/08)--Senior Joan Hunter won three events while freshman Kim Shadwick and junior Krystyna Vihonski each won two events leading Coast Guard to a 172-121 win over Clark.
Hunter won the 50 freestyle (24.90), 100 freestyle (55.03) and the 200 freestyle (2:00.60). Shadwick broke her own school-record in the 1,000 freestyle (10:47.55) and also won the 500 freestyle (5:16.19) while Vihonksi captured the 100 breaststroke (1:14.50) and the 200 breaststroke (2:39.04).
Also for the Bears, freshman Marie Canavan won the 1-meter diving (176.70), junior Joyce Haynsnworth won the 200 backstroke (2:24.48) while freshman Trayce Womack won the 100 butterfly (1:05.46).
The 200 medley relay team of Haynsworth, Vihonski, Womack and senior Jenny Fields won with a time of 2:02.13.
