Senior Bobby Brown won two events as the Bears beat rival Conn. College.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(2/1/08)--Sophomore Timmy Berry won two individual events and was part of the winning 400 medley relay team leading Coast Guard to a 176-112 win over rival and host Connecticut College.

Berry won the 100 backstroke (54.68), 200 backstroke (1:58.38) and teamed with juniors Jack Sauve, Nick Forni and Jim Okorn to win the 400 medley relay (3;32.76).

Seniors Dan Cloonan and Bobby Brown each won two events as Cloonan won both the 1-meter (239.75) and 3-meter (205.75) diving events and Brown captured the 500 freestyle (4:50.38) and the 1,000 freestyle (9:46.99).

Also for the Bears, Sauve won the 100 breaststroke (59.03), senior Jack Shadwick won the 200 freestyle (1:48.10) and freshman Mike Carman won the 200 breaststroke (2:11.39).

Coast Guard improve to 7-3 on the season with the win.
