Senior Joan Hunter accounted for three first place finishes for the Bears.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(2/1/08)--Freshman Kim Shadwick won three events while senior Joan Hunter won two individual events and was part of a winning relay team, but the Bears lost to host Connecticut College 172-126.
Shadwick won the 200 freestyle (1:58.87), 500 freestyle (5:19.93) and the 200 IM (2:19.53) while Hunter won the 50 free (25.11), 100 free (54.59) and teamed with freshman Sarah-Jane Otey, junior Jenny Fields and freshman Emily Zalewski to win the 400 free relay with a time of 3:53.63
Also for the Bears, junior Krystyna Vihonski won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:36.22
