Matt Krueger earned All-ECAC honors for the first time in his career.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(1/8/08)--The New England Football Conference (NEFC) Bogan Division champion Coast Guard Academy had four players named to the 2007 ECAC Division III Northeast All-Star team.

Senior guard Nick Hartmann, senior center Matt Krueger, senior punter Jesse Harms and sophomore defensive back Steve Arguelles were all named to the team.

Hartmann was the Bogan Division Offensive Lineman of the Year, a member of the New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England team and a first team All-East selection by D3football.com. Krueger was a Bogan Division first team selection and first team All-East by D3football.com as the duo was part of a Coast Guard offensive line which was third in the nation with just seven sacks allowed. Both Hartmann and Krueger earn All-ECAC honors for the first time in their careers.

Harms earns first team All-ECAC honors for the fourth straight season. He was named to the New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England and D3football.com All-East team for the third time as he led the NEFC with a 40.7 yard average and earned first team All-league honors for the fourth straight season, two in the Liberty League and two in the NEFC.

Arguelles, the 2006 ECAC Rookie of the Year and an All-Star last season, was also a first team All-Bogan Division selection for the second straight season as he recorded 26 tackles, 21 solo and had two interceptions.

Coast Guard finished 8-2 overall and 7-0 in the Bogan Division.
