NEW LONDON, CONN.--(12/2/07)--Freshman Kim Shadwick won both the 500 freestyle (5:16.84) and 200 freestyle (1:59.26) as Coast Guard placed third at the Conn. College Invitational.
Shadwick also teamed with Joan Hunter, Tara Schendorf and Sarah Jane Otey for a second place finish in the 800 freestyle relay (8:18.27) and with Hunter, Otey and Emily Zalewski to place second in the 400 freestyle relay (3:48.45).
Senior Joan Hunter won the 100 freestyle (54.81) and placed second in the 50 freestyle (25.08) and junior Krystyna Vihonski was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:34.40).
Conn. College won with 910 points, Wellesley was second with 707 while the Bears were third with 558, finishing ahead of East Stroudsburg (365).
