Wrestling - Feldman Places 5th at RIT Invitational
Garrett Feldman placed fifth at 141 pounds for the Bears.
ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(12/1/07)--Senior Garrett Feldman was the top Coast Guard finisher as he placed 5th overall at 141 pounds at the Rochester Invitational.
Feldman, seeded 7th in this weight class, lost his first match of the day 13-9 before winning three straight in the consolation bracket, including a pin and a major decision.
He then lost before beating Cory Connell from Baldwin & Wallace 15-7 in the fifth place match.
Colin Boyle and Matt Leisy (165) also scored points for the Bears, as did Bryan Conrad (125), Andy Snyder (157) and Dan Sorby (197).
The Bears, who placed 13th overall, open the dual meet portion of the season on Wednesday night at Roger Williams.
