Sailing - Women's Team Ranked 13th in Latest ICSA National Ranking

New London, CT--(11/30/07)--The latest ICSA Sailing World National Rankings, dated November 27, lists the Coast Guard Academy Women's Sailing team at 13th in the country. Solid performances at top level regattas throughout the season and a win at the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship earned the Lady Bears this ranking. With these results coming primarily from freshman skippers, the team will look to better their ranking during the Spring season and following seasons. CGA has not been ranked nationally since at least August of 2003, as far back as online records date. The academy was last mentioned in the women's ranking in the "Also Receiving Votes" category on March 28, 2005.
