NEW LONDON, CONN.—-(11/27/07)--Senior Natalie Moyer had a double-double as she led all scorers with 22 points, while connecting on six three-pointers, to go with her game-high 10 rebounds as Coast Guard remained unbeaten with a 57-41 win over New England College in a non-conference game.

The Pilgrims (1-3) scored the first five points of the game before the Bears connected on five consecutive three-pointers which highlighted a 19-0 spurt giving Coast Guard a 19-5 lead with 13:20 left in the first half.

New England College stayed close as they scored seven of the final nine points in the half to close to within 29-23 at halftime.

Moyer had 15 points on five three-pointers in the first half.

New England College pulled to within three points at 31-28 with 18:01 left, but Coast Guard responded with an 11-3 run to take control of the game, leading 42-31 lead with 10:41 left in the game.

Senior DeCarol Davis had nine points and 10 rebounds in her first game of the season for Coast Guard (3-0) while senior Corinne McCormack had eight points, seven rebounds and team-highs with four assists and two blocks.

Junior Ashley Hutton led the Pilgrims with 14 points to go with her six rebounds while freshman Katie Griffin led the team with nine rebounds.
