United States Coast Guard Academy - Department of Athletics - Wrestling - Boyle Places 4th at Doug Parker Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, MASS.--(11/18/07)--Coast Guard senior Colin Boyle was the top Bears finisher as he placed fourth at 174 pounds at the Doug Parker Invitational at Springfield College Saturday.

Boyle won his first two matches, one by pin, before losing to eventual champion, Brandon MacWhinn in the semifinals dropping Boyle to the consolation bracket where he won a match to advance to the third place match, losintg 5-3 to Brendan Casey of RIC.

Rhode Island College won with 142 points while Coast Guard finished 15th (33.5).

Junior Alex Gebhardt had three falls at 133 pounds for Coast Guard, which placed 15th of 18 teams.
