Coast Guard, which captured the NEWMAC tournament championship last season, opens play this weekend at the New York Maritime Tournament.
The Coast Guard Academy men's basketball team will open up the 2007-2008 season this weekend at the New York Maritime Tournament and you can listen live to both games at www.sportsjuice.com.
The Bears, who won the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) tournament and went to the NCAA Tournament last season, were 14-14 overall last season and 2-10 in conference play.
Coast Guard will open the tournament on Friday night vs. Cal Maritime at 6 p.m. The consolation and championship game will be played at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday night.
