Megan Durbin and the senior class won their 100th match on Senior Night.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(10/22/07)--Junior Nicole Gurr had 14 kills and three aces while senior Corinne McCormack had 12 kills and five aces as Coast Guard won its sixth straight beating Clark 3-0 (30-15, 30-15, 30-10) on Senior Night in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game.

The three Coast Guard seniors, McCormack, Anne Staley and Megan Durbin playing their final regular season home game, won their 100th match with the win giving the class a four-year record of 100-15 for a tremendous .870 winning percentage.

Coast Guard (20-4, 6-2) clinched a first round home game in the upcoming NEWMAC tournament with the win. They will host a first round game on Tuesday, Oct. 30th.

Staley had 39 assists and five aces while sophomore Carin Sweeney added eight kills for the Bears.

Senior Sarah Hunsucker led Clark (6-17, 1-7) with six kills to go with eight digs while sophomore Emily Visone had 10 digs for the Cougars.
