NEW LONDON, CONN.--(10/20/07)--Junior Nicole Gurr had 34 kills and six aces leading Coast Guard to a pair of wins over Wesleyan and Roger Williams.
Gurr had 14 kills, 21 digs, three blocks and three aces while senior Corinne McCormack added 10 kills, 11 digs, five blocks an three aces in the 30-22, 30-36, 31-29 win over Wesleyan.
Senior Anne Staley led the Bears (19-4) with 33 assists to go with three aces while Mary Bitzer had nine kills in the win over the Cardinals.
Gurr had 20 kills and three aces while sophomore Carin Sweeney had six kills in the 30-11, 30-13, 30-26 win over Roger Williams.
Staley had 38 assists and five aces while senior Megan Durbin added six digs and four aces in the win over the Hawks.
