WESTFIELD, MASS.--(10/6/07)--Senior Sara McGuigan finished third and helped Coast Guard to a second place finish in the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State College.
Trinity College won the event with 37 points while the Bears had 79 points in the 30-team field. McGuigan placed third in 19 minutes, seven seconds on the 3.1-mile course. There were 231 runners.
Also for Coast Guard, Tessa Knott was ninth in 19:48, followed by Lauren Tumulty (22nd, 20:27), Samantha Gordon (24th, 20:29) and Bryce Van Cleef (27th).
