Courtney Wolf had 11 kills as the Bears won their third straight.
NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/15/07)--Nicole Gurr had 14 kills, four blocks and four aces while Corinne McCormack had 12 kills, six digs, two blocks and four aces leading Coast Guard to a 3-0 win (30-20, 30-19, 30-19) win over Smith in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match.
Courtney Wolf had 11 kills for the Bears (4-2, 2-0) while Ashley Bullard led the way with 34 assists to go with her five digs.
Defending NEWMAC champion Coast Guard has now won 12 straight NEWMAC matches overall and 10 NEWMAC regular season matches dating back to last season.
Katie Shafer led Smith (2-4, 0-2) with seven kills and 15 digs while Mikal Minarich added six kills and six digs for the Pioneers.
