NEW LONDON, CONN.--(9/8/07)--Senior co-captain Natasha Levandowski scored a pair of goals leading Southern Maine to its first win of the season, a 4-2 win over Coast Guard in a non-conference game.
Levandowski scored just 6:40 into the match before seniors Samantha Rennie and Lindsay Herzog scored just 1:26 apart scoring goals at 13:23 and 14:49 as the Huskies took a 3-0 lead.
Junior KC Gaudette scored Coast Guard’s first goal of the season with 11 minutes left in the first half. Sophomore Emma Marr assisted on the goal. Southern Maine led 3-1 at the half.
Levandowski scored the final Southern Maine (1-2) goal at 58:58 before Coast Guard junior Jen Ferreira scored her first career goal in the 74th minute to close the scoring.
