Susan Grant takes over the Coast Guard women's soccer program. NEW LONDON, CONN.--(7/26/07)--Susan Grant has been named head coach of the women’s soccer team at the United States Coast Guard Academy. She replaces Carla DeSantis.

“We are excited about adding Susan Grant to our coaching staff,” said Dr. Ray Cieplik, Coast Guard Academy Director of Athletics. “She has an excellent background in athletics, and we expect her expertise in women’s soccer and coaching to contribute to the development of our cadet athletes in a significant way.”
Grant was the lacrosse coach and assistant field hockey coach at Pine Point School, in Stonington, during the Fall of 2006 and prior to that she coached soccer, field hockey and lacrosse at various levels in Upstate New York.
