Women's Track - McCarron Wins 800 Meters as Bears Place Third |

 Jayna McCarron won the 800 meters and was second in the 1,500 meters.
Chanel Lee won the 100 meter hurdles (15.72), Anne Jefferson won the discus (125-10), Caitlin Quinn won the 3,000 meter steeplechase (11:46) and Beth Stevick won the pole vault (8-3.25) for the Bears.
The Bears finished 1-2 in both the 3,000 meter steeplechase and the pole vault as Aidan Van Cleef was second in the steeplechase (11:50.53) and Claire Delanoy was second in the pole vault (7-3).
Earning third place finishes for Coast Guard were K.C. Gaudette in teh 400 meter hurdles (1:12.14), Lee in the triple jump (34-4.25), Victoria Stevens in the shot put (35-3.75) and Hillary Brown in the hammer (138-03).
Springfield won with 83 points while Bowdoin (58 points) was second, the Bears (47) were third and WPI was fourth with 12 points. |
