NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/13/07)--Connecticut College improved to 7-5 with a 6-3 victory in a match played at the Coast Guard Academy (4-5) Thursday afternoon.
Andrew Watts and Andrew Meyer paced the Camels with victories in singles and doubles play in this Whaling City match-up.
Watts rallied for a 6-7, 6-4, 7-6 victory against Tim Ozimek at #4 singles. Meyer notched a 6-2, 6-3 victory at #6 against Vince Falco. Watts and Meyer paired up for an 8-3 victory at #2 doubles.
Ben Sherman earned a 6-3, 6-0 victory at #4 singles for the Camels.
The Bears took points at #1 and #2 singles Ryan Beck collected a 6-3, 6-1 victory at #1 singles. Chris Pappe posted a 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 victory at #2 for the Coast Guard.
