NEW LONDON, CONN.--(4/7/07)--Caitlin Quinn won the 5,000 meters and Anne Jefferson won the discus leading Coast Guard to a second place finish at the CGA Invitational, the first meet held on Coast Guard's new outdoor track.

The Bears went 1-2-3 in the 5,000 meters as Quinn won with a time of 18:30.10 followed by teammates and sisters Aidan Van Cleef (18:54.63) and Bryce Van Cleef (19:03.49).

Jefferson won the discus with a throw of 119 feet, 7 inches.

Placing second for the Bears were Beth Stevick in the pole vault (2.52 meters), Jayna McCarron in the 1,500 meters (4:54.05) and the 4x100 relay team of Ruby Inge, Chanel Lee, Dana Tomc and Abbie Harms.

Coast Guard finished second with 150 points while Tufts won with 201 points.
