Freshman Anne Jefferson was the top Coast Guard finisher with a second place finish in the discus.
LEXINGTON, VA.--(3/31/07)--Anne Jefferson was the top Coast Guard finisher with a third place finish in the discus as the Bears placed fifth at the inaugural All-Academy Championships at VMI
Jefferson had a throw of 126 feet to place third.
Caitlin Quinn placed fourth in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:39.50.
The Bears finished with 42 points beatin out VMI (34). Navy won with 209 points.
