NEW LONDON, CONN.--(3/27/07)--Ryan Beck, Chris Pappe, Tim Ozimek, Lynn Schrayshuen and Cody Isaacson won both their singles and doubles matches as Coast Guard won its third straight with an 8-1 win over Rhode Island College in a non-conference match.
Beck (No. 1 singles), Pappe (No. 2 singles) and Schrayshuen (No. 4 singles) all won in straight sets while Ozimek won a marathon match at No. 3 singles winning the third set 14-12.
Beck and Pappe (No. 1), Ozimek and Schrayshuen (No. 2) and Vince Falco and Isaacson (No. 3) all won in doubles action for the Bears, who are 3-1 in the spring season and 3-3 overall.
