NEW LONDON, CONN.--(3/24/07)--Caitlin Quinn won the 5,000 meters (18:35.10) and K.C. Gaudette won the 400 hurdles (1:14.55) leading Coast Guard to a second place finish at the Conn. College Invitational.
Finishing in second place for Coast Guard were Aidan Van Cleef in the 5,000 meters, Dana Tomc in the 400 meters and Alyssa McDonald in the 400 hurdles.
The 4x100 team of Rudy Inge, Chanel Lee, Kelly Prouett and Abbie Harms and the 4x400 team of Gaudette, Tomc, Lauren Power and Harms were each second.
Third place finishes went to Lee in the triple jump and Hillary Brown in the hammer while Jayna McCarron was fourth in the 1500 and qualified for the New England Div. III meet along with Quinn and Van Cleef in the 5000 meters.
Keene State won the women's title with 173 points while Coast Guard was second at 133.5. |
